What we eat influences our mood, for better or for worse. Organisations such as MIND offer great advice to help you eat in a way that supports good mental health.
Our Mood Food classes are for people with a mental health condition such as anxiety or depression. We cook together in a friendly, relaxed way and include healthy, appetising dishes using ingredients that are thought to help us feel better. Recent Mood Food classes have been supported by Bupa UK Foundation.
Upcoming Mood Food Courses:
- Thursday mornings, 10.30am to 12.30pm starting April 19th 2018 for 7 weeks.
This course is supported by our Big Lottery grant and there is no charge to attend. Each week we will ask you to bring the main ingredients of the dish. You do not have to have any cooking experience, we will teach you all you need to know to prepare healthy, affordable meals.
These classes are friendly and welcoming. You can come on your own and soon feel relaxed. Or bring a friend if you like.
